Kimi Ryokan charges by the number of guests renting a room, and not by the room itself . This is traditional in Japanese ryokan. If there is more than one guest staying in a room, the cost per guest becomes less.

Following the earthquake and tsunami of March 2011, the Kimi temporarily suspended charging the 5% tax the government levies on all rooms  in response to the disaster.Due to recent tax office directives, we will be resume adding this tax to room cost from April 1st, 2012 on all rooms. This means that all room charges will be subject once again to the 5% Consumption Tax in addition to the cost of the room. We ask your kind understanding.
